Top 5 reasons to level up with the next generation of enterprise integration — the Super iPaaS

Our next generation integration capabilities will give my customers the agility, productivity, and governance they need to thrive in today’s cloud-driven ecosystem. Here’s how we’re helping them take the right next steps to level up their journey to the cloud.

As a leader in our Customer Success team at Software AG, I spend my days working with some of our customers’ most complex use cases. In addition to regular day-to-day interactions, my colleagues and I meet with customers at User Groups or at Customer Advisory Boards to better understand the challenges they face. We use this feedback to inform our vision and strategy for the future of enterprise integration. I get a thrill out of helping customers navigate the twists and turns of integration so they can “level up” on their Software AG journey. I know I’ve done my job when customers have those “ah-ha” moments and can see how the work we’re doing together is helping drive their business to success.

When I talk with customers, they tell me some of the biggest challenges they are facing. For example, many of them have concerns about how to navigate their journey to the Cloud.  Some are just getting started, while others are well on their way to leveling up. Suffice it to say, there are obvious advantages to moving to the cloud — cost efficiency, scalability, flexibility, security, reliability, and of course, my favorite, access to the latest and hottest product capabilities. That’s why I’m on cloud nine about the launch of our market-defining enterprise integration platform. It’s truly an exciting time to be part of the webMethods family!

Through a completely new category of integration platform — what we’re calling a “Super iPaaS”, we’ll be able to deliver capabilities that will give our customers more of the agility, productivity, and governance they need to navigate their cloud journey. With access to all our enterprise integration platform offers, I know I can confidently help them level up in five core ways.

Develop Anywhere, Deploy Anywhere

Something I hear constantly from our customers is that developing software for multiple platforms or environments is time-consuming and costly. Developers and advanced integration users want the power of the on-premises developer interface which was previously not available with webMethods.io Integration. Yes, they also want to reduce costs, but even more importantly, they need to innovate quickly to meet market demands and to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Without this, they are sunk.

With our latest enterprise integration capabilities, customers can develop anywhere and deploy anywhere using their preferred tooling (online or off, in any cloud or on-premises). This is a game changer! Customers can deploy existing on-premises packages to the cloud with a single development environment eliminating the inconvenience of duplicate effort and complicated local configurations to work flexibly — and fast. Customers can level up wherever they play and on their terms.

Central Control, Distributed Execution

To some, moving to the cloud can feel like an undertaking. But with “move-to-cloud” mandates becoming more and more prevalent, customers are looking for a flexible deployment approach so they can start to carve out slices of their integration pie, little by little, and deploy them to public or private clouds and close to their data sources. Let’s face it, with all these distributed run times, that means they have a LOT to manage.

Our new capabilities put the control back in our customers’ hands with a control plane that works across the hybrid integration landscape to monitor, manage, and operate integrations, APIs, and data pipelines for complex, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures. No more sleepless nights worrying about disparate data systems. It’s quite the opposite, in fact. Now they will have a single source of truth for their mission-critical APIs and have full control of a distributed network of integrations.

Unified Experience Across All iPaaS Components

Part of my job as a CSM is enabling my customers to work more efficiently and truly be successful with our products. Their concerns about adoption and learning curves within their development teams are my main priorities. For them, all those distributed landscapes mean one thing — a lot of places to go to look for, or get access to, the data and integrations they need to get their work done.

With a unified iPaaS experience customers can build and operate integrations across APIs, apps, data, B2B, and events with a unified experience, across hybrid and multi-cloud landscapes. Lucky for them, they can avoid switching between and learning multiple tools —giving them improved governance and unprecedented observability that will help them accelerate their journey to the cloud.

Generative AI throughout the integration lifecycle

Customers tell me all the time that they want to spend more time focusing on their projects and less time dealing with IT bottlenecks. With AI-driven enterprise integration, everyone becomes an integration expert, and anyone can create and manage integrations seamlessly through a single central hub simply by asking for it.

Moreover, an AI-enabled enterprise integration platform assures hybrid integration from the mainframe to the cloud, connects disparate data sets, and addresses security, compliance, and privacy. It’s intuitive for business stakeholders, fostering proactive strategies, and delivers the payoff for AI investments within a fully integrated environment. For example, customers can ask to “sync all new ServiceNow incidents with priority “Critical” to Gainsight NXT.” A few moments later — voila! Your integrations are ready to go. Leveling up, indeed.

Closed Loop of App and Data Integration

It goes without saying that the convergence of data integration and app integration is quickly becoming a top priority for many of my customers. With the chaos of connectivity getting more — well, chaotic — by the day, I believe bringing these two capabilities closer together is the next level steppingstone paramount to becoming more agile, productive, and adaptive in an ever-evolving technology landscape.

With a closed loop of app and data, customers can capitalize on past, present, and future data to work the way they want by seamlessly connecting any source — be it apps, APIs, events, or data warehouses from on-premises to the cloud and back. Further, customers are empowered to drive productivity and turn data into actionable insights with this seamless flow of data to make data-driven decisions and put them into action immediately. Talk about leveling up — this convergence should be considered a power up in my opinion.

You can get all this and more through your existing webMethods.io subscription. Or if you’re a webMethods customer and need a true hybrid integration solution to handle multiple public and private clouds in addition to your on-prem applications, it’s time to talk about getting you over to webMethods.io.

My days are filled working together with customers to tackle the obstacles they face so we can clear the way for their cloud journey. This is why I’m so excited about what Software AG is doing to deliver on their needs and look forward to seeing my customers take their cloud journey to the next level, over, and over again.
